AlphaThera Interview & Antibody-Oligo Conjugation Tech Featured in Nature Methods!

Dr. Andrew Tsourkas and Dr. Feifan Yu interview about oYo-Link Oligo technology and its potential within the field of Multi-omic Single-cell Analysis.

Dr. Tsourkas, co-founder of AlphaThera, and Dr. Yu, Scientific Director, were recently interviewed for a Technology Feature article in Nature Methods titled, ‘How single-cell multi-omics builds relationships’. The article by Vivian Marx looks at approaches to analyze single-cell changes and reviews inCITE-seq as a method to multiplex measurements of a protein’s journey. The challenges of attaching DNA tags to track antibodies in the nucleus and the requirements for cheaper and controlled ways for conjugating DNA to antibodies are also discussed.

Dr. Tsourkas and Dr. Yu talk about the development of oYo-Link Antibody-Oligonucleotide Labeling technology th and the opportunities it provides researchers in the field of multi-omic single-cell analysis. Read the full article below or read more about oYo-Link Oligo Labeling Kit here.

oYo-Link® Oligo Conjugation

oYo-Link Oligo provides an easy-to-use and affordable method of performing site-specific antibody-oligonucleotide conjugations. The technology offers many benefits compared with traditional amine-directed conjugation techniques including:

    Benefits of oYo-Link Oligo Conjugations:

    • Reduced cost - Label as little as 1 µg of Antibody per reaction.
    • Flexibility - Attach both ssDNA and dsDNA Oligos, length of 10-150bp or longer
    • Quick and Easy-to-use, no technical expertise required
    • Only 30 sec hands-on time, 2hrs total!
    • Ensure confidence in downstream assays - all Oligos are HPLC or PAGE grade from IDT.
